RUTH MATTHEWS was brought up in southern Minnesota with strong Christian values.  She attended Ambassador University from 1969-73 which included a summer archaeological project in Jerusalem where she met Rod, her husband-to-be.  They have been married 36 years and have two sons and six grandchildren.  She has worked with her husband in ministry through the years – living in Australia, the U.S, the Philippines and now back in Australia.  In more recent years, she has enjoyed encouraging the start-up of women’s ministries and speaking to groups in various countries throughout the region.

ANNE STEVENS was born in Canada into a Presbyterian farming family.  While living in Toronto she obtained a Degree in Visual Arts and Communication, and for over five years was a nanny for a Jewish family who adopted her into their very loving family.  Led by God she came to NZ to work and two years later met her husband, Selwyn.  Married for 21 years, she has supported him in Jubilee Ministries including doing the graphic design for books Selwyn has written and in prayer ministry.  She has recently started to paint again which she is enjoying.
